Get the show on the road! Being told you have Cancer on a Friday, leaves a lot of time for worry. It also gives you time to cry and process things...over and over and over, again. My husband has been so amazing. He is there to hold me, cry with me, support me, encourage me...and to remind me that he is in this for the long haul. He just wants me to be okay. He wipes away my fears. He knows how much I need him and he hands me his heart with each word he speaks to me. He is amazing. I am blessed!
My mom and dad made it home last night. I've never felt a sweeter hug. I held onto my mom for dear life. She is my rock. She is my place of comfort. The arms of my daddy are just that...they are my daddy. My hero. My comfort. I am comforted. I can breathe again. They are here.
My brother, Charles, and his wife flew in from CO to help me understand things. His hug was genuine and caring. It felt so safe. It felt like home. Sadly, at this point...there isn't a lot of information available. However, the explanation from his wife, a Pathologist, helped me understand things and was very calming. I understood the importance of the CT Scan and Colonoscopy.
Today, the nurse will call to set up all of my appointments. I just want answers and none of it can happen soon enough. Get this out of my body!
